Some information that may help you when we call includes our office hours and location, and the difference between our free initial consultation compared to our first time patient evaluation.
Patient Evaluation:
A patient evaluation for first time patients takes about an hour. It includes filling out some paper work when you get here (available on our patient resources page), setting up insurance or self-pay pricing, a thorough analysis by Dr. Neil Wensink, Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) which could include x-rays, range of motion testing and even some initial treatment when the evaluation is immediately conclusive. You will leave the clinic with a schedule, or prescription, of how to treat and care for your pain which could include further visits for chiropractic treatments, physical therapy and rehabilitation or therapeutic massage, as well as exercises to help your recovery and pain management.
Free Consultation:
In contrast, our free consultation process typically lasts 10 minutes, there is no paperwork, no insurance or payment information exchanged and no diagnosis of treatment. This free consultation is an opportunity for potential patients to visit our clinic, meet with the doctor and get a feel for how we treat our patients (to the highest standard). It also gives Dr. Neil an opportunity to learn more about your medical history and what could be causing you discomfort – whether it be occupational hazard, an injury, an accident, athletics or something lifestyle related. The consultation is best described as a discussion to explain a little more about how our clinic operates while the patient evaluation can best be described as an exam. We can not provide any medical treatment or advice without a patient evaluation. Superior Spine Care is located at 2576 Lorain Road Suite 202 in North Olmsted, Ohio. We are in the North Olmsted Medical Building behind the Urgent Care across from the Honda dealership and a few doors down from Bob Evans. We are located in the heart of North Olmsted just north of the mall with easy access from I480.
